Army Asu Uniform Setup - There are four types of uniforms to wear: Class A, Class B, ACU (Camouflage Field Uniform) and Physical Training (PT).

(c) The uniform shall be worn for all inspections, parades and examinations, for all leading laboratories and on other selected occasions.
(d) A plain white Oxford jacket and black bow tie worn with Class A uniform is formal dress for appropriate formal events such as military balls.

(3) Class C Uniform: The Camouflage Military Combat Uniform (ACU) is issued to female and male cadets participating in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC). This uniform consists of coat, pants, cap, shirt, belt, socks, boots and badges.
(4) Physical Training Uniform (PT): Athletic uniforms will not be issued. Cadets use their sports uniform, sweater or T-shirt, pants or shorts, and unmarked tennis shoes, such as Cadet Challenge, organized athletics, dodgeball, and physical training.

(2) Cadets are entitled to wear distinctive cords on Class A and Class B uniforms to recognize their status as active members of JROTC joint training organizations. Former members may wear the ribbon and badge assigned to that organization, but not the cord. Individual cords are worn on the right shoulder, except for the National Honor Society cord, which is worn on the left shoulder. GENERAL. Achievement is awarded with badges, medals and ribbons. All awards and decorations must be printed with the command before wearing. A ribbon and medal representing the same award cannot be worn at the same time. The awards and decorations listed here are only authorized to be worn on cadet uniforms.
B. LENTICS. Male cadets wear ribbons 1/8 inch above the top of the shirt/coat pocket and above the left pocket. Female cadets wear a ribbon above the first button of the blouse/coat and a horizontal line at the bottom. worn by the user in three rows in order of priority from right to left and top to bottom (see Figures 7-10).

Medals are worn from the wearer from right to left and from top to bottom. Female cadets wear medals 1/4 inch below the ribbon or 1/8 inch below the line.

Badges. Cadets wear medals 1/8 inch below the top of the left pocket flap or 1/8 inch below the bottom of the pocket flap if a series of insignia is worn. Medals are worn in two or more rows. If only one medal is worn, it may be worn consecutively with one or two badges in the leftmost position. The number of medals worn in each row depends on the size of the coat. The second and subsequent rows of medals will not have more medals than the top row. For example, if the first row contains five medals, the second row must contain five or fewer medals. Each row of medals is placed as far below the row above as possible. The following authorized medals will be awarded in the championship order:

Organization labels are spaced 1/8 inch apart on the right side of Class A and Class B garments. Men wear the pocket tabs in the center of the pocket between the bottom of the pocket flap and the bottom of the pocket (Figures 7 and 8). Women wear tabs located in the center of the set seam between the second and third buttons (pictures 9 and 10). Tags are issued at the end of the season. GENERAL. Cretin-Derham Hall Cadet Corps places great importance on maintaining standards of uniform and appearance. The manner and manner in which the members of the organization wear uniforms indicate the state of discipline and morale in the entire organization. Model appearance is always a desirable standard for every cadet. Setting a good example and showing good behavior are important qualities of a leader. Almost all JROTC uniforms and standards of care follow the CDH standards outlined in the Student Handbook for all students. Below are the minimum acceptable appearance standards for each cadet.
(1) Pants/Trousers. Military and school trousers shall be clean, pressed and properly fitted. With the waistband at the hip line, the relaxed length/length of the pants is such that the hem hits the shoe laces with only one "break" at the front crease. The hem rises 1 inch from the ground at the heel. Left back pocket tab is buttoned.
(2) blouses/dresses. Military and school blouses/shirts are freshly washed and ironed. The button of the high collar will be buttons when wearing a tie or neck tag. A tie or necktie is required when wearing an optional long-sleeved blouse/shirt. The ends of the blouse/shirt are fully tucked into the pants/trousers so that the belt and belt buckle are visible. Blouses that are "turned up" or loose at the waist are not allowed. The JROTC rank insignia is placed correctly on the shoulders of the blouse/shirt. The pockets are buttoned and a name tag is worn on the right side featuring the Star of Honor and the school crest. All approved ribbons are worn in order on the left side. (3) Shoes. Only issued shoes are worn with the JROTC uniform. Shoes are cleaned to remove dirt, dust and stains. The upper surfaces of the shoes can be cleaned with a glass cleaner (Windek), and the sides of the sole can be painted with a black border. Shoes will be tied.

(5) Belt and buckle. A black belt with a brass buckle is always worn with pants/trousers. The belt tab extends from the left side of the buckle for boys and from the right side for girls. The buckle will be shiny and will be the same as the "gig line" (a straight line formed by the edge of the blouse/shirt, opposite the tongue belt of the buckle and the crease of the pants/trousers zipper) .
(6) Undershirt. The only undershirt that can be worn with the JROTC uniform is a plain white T-shirt with a crew neck. Colored T-shirts, T-shirts with logos, slogans or colorful designs or V-neck T-shirts may not be worn.
(7) Neck / tie card. Class A uniform or optional long sleeve blouse/shirt with black skirt/neck tie.
